Candida krusei

I'm not going to sugar coat this.

Scotland food sucks.
Everything is fried. Even pizza!

The only two things that I will miss food-wise are Kinder chocolate bars and caramel shortbread.

Caramel shortbread, commonly refered to as "millionaire's shortbread," consists of a thick layer of chocolate and caramel. Paired with a shortbread crumb crust. It is delicious.

Kinder buenos are hazelnut cream filled wafers. Made by Ferrero, which should explain a lot. I plan on bringing home tons of these.

If I stayed here much longer though, I would have to sell the Prius to sustain my expensive, addictive eating lifestyle.

MMmmmmm. Those both look so yummy. But not enough to satisfy real food hunger. I don't know if I could handle the weird food thing. Will you bring me one of those kinder buenos things? Can't wait to give you a big smooch!

Love you ~ Amanda

Oh my goodness, Kinder chocolate is so good. Keith brought some home from his last trip through Amsterdam on his way home from work.

Our food isn't that bad!

You've just been going to chippy's that's why everythings fried.

That Spanish place we went was pretty good....yeah I know it's not Scottish but what delicacies has the US given the world?

excuse me "Paul", but the US has contributed much to the world in terms of culinary delicacies. for example: otter pops, cotton candy, clam chowder, fajitas (yes, that was us not mexico), sweet potatoes, and corn (in all forms). you're welcome.

to hannah: bring back the recipe for the millionaire thing! i have recently taken an interest in cooking and baking. i am so domestic. i even asked for a frilly apron for christmas. we could have all kinds of fun with this. yes? i love/miss you and am SOOOOOO excited to see you!!

Yeah, I'm a big dork. Obviously I didn't need to identify myself since my big fat picture is right there. Hate me.

Dani,

Cotton Candy - meh, it's okay.
Fajitas - arguably American...along with Texas.
Clam Chowder - never tried it, don't want to.
Sweet potatoes - meh
Corn - Actually it was native americans that first grew corn. Not Euro-americans or the US.

Scotland still gave the world a variety of other things - the telephone, television, penicillin and most importantly, the concept of free education.
